What is the Agroforestry and Agricultural Land Management Initiative in Ethiopia (ALMI-Ethiopia) mission and Vision statement?

To promote and support the sustainable management of Natural
Resources, implementing efficient Agricultural Technologies, and
offering a range of opportunities to enhance the livelihoods of our
targeted beneficiaries in partnership with States, local, communities
and producers (Farmers) across the country who steward our Nation’s
Forest, Pasturelands, and croplands.


To protect and enhance Natural Resources such as air, land, water,
wildlife, forests, and the ecosystems that sustain all life to achieve a
healthier and more sustainable environment to combat the looming
threat of climate change and to ensure the right of all people to use and
enjoy these Natural Resources in their work and leisure to achieve
common goals and progress, as a forward-thinking approach is
necessary when forming partnerships.

To provide economic opportunity through innovation, helping rural Ethiopia to
thrive; promote agriculture production that better nourishes Ethiopians and to
preserve our Nation’s Natural Resources through conservation, afforestation of
healthy small-scale farmlands for a sustainable future.
